Trakena Prevost
Trakena Prevost has been working in Human Resources for the past five years, specializing in recruiting and employee relations. After obtaining her BS in Psychology from Texas A&M, she decided she needed a complete change of pace - and scenery - so she moved to NYC. It was there that she gained her MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from NYU, the love of her life, and a desire for writing that she never knew existed within her.
In addition to HR, Trakena has a great love for teen literature, spending most of her free time reading YA, Tween, and MG novels. Her first novel, a MG/Tween adventure fantasy, is finally ready to be sent out for representation, and she spends much of her time visualizing entire worlds where anything is possible.
Throughout her life, Trakena has dealt with all types of relationships (from the crazy ones to, finally, the right one), had many differing college experiences (there is a strategic way to put together a class schedule to benefit a student's time and learning ability), and is still very much in touch with her teen side (that has to be true to write what she does!).
